Happy new month!
It’s June and we are now about to start the second half of the year.
This is the perfect time to analyse how you are tracking with your goals, to review what’s working and what’s not working…change tactics and prepare for the second half of the year.
What goals did you set up to achieve by the end of the year back in January?
Did you set up a plan of action and are you taking consistent action each day towards your goals?
If not ask the question why…
Here are a few tips to help you with your review
1. Review your Internal Dialogue
How do you talk to yourself? Listen to the inner voice. Do you hear it say I am too old to start something new, I don’t have enough experience, I am not good with technology or I don’t have enough money to get me started with that new venture,or I don’t have enough time?
2. Be Stubborn About Your Goals
Many people will tell you you can’t do xxxx, many people will project their fears onto you. But you need to believe in yourself and your goals. Be stubborn about your goals, don’t listen to people who say that your goals cannot be achieved. If you don’t believe you can achieve your goals no-one else will.
3. Are Your Internal Beliefs Aligned With Your Goals?
Its important to align your beliefs with your goals. You won’t achieve your goals if you have doubts in own abilities, your goals, your products, your customers, etc…its important these are aligned. Its also important that you believe in the success of your goals.
4. What Type of Energy Do You Surround Yourself With?
Do you ever stop and ask yourself how come once you start a business venture everybody becomes an expert all of a sudden?
Do you remember when you were working 9-5 nobody really gave you advice on how to do your job as such? But now suddenly everyone in your family seem to know it all and will give you advice on how to run your business etc? Mind you often these people do not have business experience themselves.
5. Do You Fear Failure?
” I failed many times in my life, but my mother used to tell me, ‘failure is not the opposite of success, it is a stepping stone to success’.
So, at some point I learned not to dread failure. I strongly believe that we are not put on this Earth just to accumulate victories and trophies and avoid failures; but rather to be whittled and sandpapered down until what’s left is who we truly are.”

6. Have You Considered Using Mentors?
Did you know that mentors can fast track your business and shorten the entrepreneurship journey?
find success mentors and learn from their mistakes and failures
One of my mentors, for example, went through extensive trial and error. He later realized that if he wanted fast and substantial progress, he needed to find a mentor and a state-of-the art business model.
After two more months of research, he finally found a good mentor and his progress skyrocketed. What would have taken him years to learn and apply took mere months, saving huge amounts of time and money.
Within six months he was able to quit his office job and was making more income as an affiliate marketer than he had ever made in his job. He went on and Co-Founded his own company
Understand that you don’t have to do it all by yourself.
7.Do You Feel Overwhelmed by It All?
Sometimes it can all feel so overwhelming to even take that first step.
Start breaking things down into manageable chunks.
Take one step at a time, give yourself 3 years, 5 years …be patient, you will see results no matter how small your actions are! As long as you are consistent with your actions. Its not what we do once in a while but rather what we do everyday!
Remember that you are where you are today because of decisions you made 2,3 5 years ago.
If you want things to change review your internal beliefs.
We are approaching the second half of the year fast! Ask yourself what story do you want to tell this time next year?
